Introduction
Terms and Conditions may vary in requirements based on state law. The following information is recommended but may need to be altered based on your state. If you have multiple organizations in ServiceMinder, these changes must occur in each account. You should review your terms and conditions annually, at least, to ensure they are current.

Proposal Terms and Conditions:
You can adjust your Terms and Conditions and the text shown on your proposals in ServiceMinder by navigating to the "Proposal Text" area in the Control Panel.
Once you are in the Proposal Terms and Conditions area, select "Edit". If you have no existing terms or conditions, you will click "Add."
Next, name your terms and conditions for the current year:
Above the Fold Text
You may see one or two areas depending on whether or not you've set up terms and conditions before. The first is "Above the Fold". The second is "Terms and Conditions". If you do not see the "Above the Fold" area yet, enter your terms and conditions first, then save. Once you've saved, select edit again on the terms and conditions, and you should now see the "Above the Fold" area.
The Above the Fold area will display text at the top of your proposal. We recommend pasting the text below, which will display the number of treatments in the customer's plan and the pre-treatment price. Paste the text below in the Above the Fold area to make this change.
Your 2021 plan contains {{ model.schedule_dates.size }} treatments at ${{ model.total | divided_by: model.schedule_dates.size | round: 2 }} per treatment.
When pasted into the Above the Fold area, the above text will display the number of treatments and the pre-treatment price.
Terms and Conditions Text
In the Terms and Conditions area, text will be entered that will be displayed on the bottom of the proposal under Terms and Conditions.
If you are using body cameras, we recommend pasting the following in your Terms and Conditions area:
Our employees may be wearing body cameras while treating your property for quality control and training purposes, including audio and video recording.
If you consider yourself a recurring service year to year, we recommend pasting the following in your terms and conditions area:
For your convenience, our service continues from year to year until you choose to opt out or discontinue.

Invoice Terms
You should also edit the Terms on your Invoices. These should match your proposal Terms and Conditions.
To edit the "Terms" on your invoices, navigate to "Invoices" in the control panel and edit the "Terms" field. You can copy and paste the information below or edit and create your own terms.
