Reminders for a Proposal for one Contact.
When you create a Proposal for a Contact, it will generate the next reminder based on the current frequency of the reminders from your settings here in Communications: https://serviceminder.io/ControlPanel/ProposalSettings
Once the reminder is sent, SM will continue to generate the next reminder based on the current settings, up until the # of reminders is reached for that proposal.
Reminders in Email Campaigns.
You may generate Bulk proposals from the Contacts tab at the top, filtering down to the desired Contacts, and then using the Actions drop down and Generate Proposals. This creates Open Proposals that can be added to a new or existing email but does not generate any reminders. This is so that you can do customized follow-ups with different campaigns.
If you generated the proposals but did not add them to an email campaign, you can launch one to all of your open proposals. To do this, go to the Proposals in the left menu and filter for the Proposals you wish to send. Once you have the Proposals selected you may use Actions dropdown on the top right and select Generate Email Campaign.
For any Open Proposal, you can look at it in the Contact details and see the date for the next reminder.
You can click the X next to that reminder if you want to stop sending reminders for that proposal. To start them up again, just hit Send to send the proposal again.
For proposals that were sent out as part of an email campaign, reminders are not automatically set. If you would like to send out your regular reminders for these proposals, go to the campaign and click on the ‘Generate Reminders’ button.
When you do this, any contact to which a proposal was sent that has not opted out/unsubscribed, will get an initial reminder within the next 24 hours. Additional, for those contacts/proposals, the system will follow the settings from Control Panel > Proposals under the Communications heading and send out additional reminders based on the current date as a start date.
Alternatively, you may manually Relauch any campaign manually by clicking Relaunch button in pic above.
Proposals sent via an email campaign will NOT trigger a Drip Trigger
Using Different Templates for Reminders
You can set the Ad Hoc template to use for proposal reminders by editing the Service. There is a Messaging section where you can specify alternate ad hoc templates to use for all the standard email notifications.
