This FAQ is about proposal templates, NOT email templates.
Proposal Templates combine a) descriptions with b)one or more parts/add-ons for use in proposals. Go to Parts/Add Ons and select the box at the top right to create/edit them.
Once created, any descriptions and/or parts will NOT update if the description or part is changed. This is by design. Mosquito Squad recommends not adding descriptions to the template but leaving them blank (so they will pull from the Services and/or Parts/Add-Ons). That way, if you update the Service or Part, it will get updated on the Proposal via the Proposal Template.
Note changes in Parts are NOT reflected in the Proposal Template unless they are deleted and re-added:
If you need to update part descriptions when making changes, go to the proposal template, "X" off any parts you don't want, and then add them back so they pick up any changes made in the part.
SM has customers who use templates as just a group of parts, and they rely on the behavior of selecting different templates to bring in additional parts (so do not replace any parts already on the proposal).
